Join us on a culinary walk around the Old Port and feel the love from our restaurant partners and guides!
You will enjoy all sorts of original creations with valentine theme throughout.
Tastings may include fresh haddock tacos & local ale, piping hot clam chowders with sparkling pink mocktails, plus classic Maine lobster rolls with choice of beverages and a big, strawberry freshly dipped in chocolate. You’ll finish with a chocolate tasting and a special, valentine’s gift set of dark chocolate truffles to enjoy much later when you’re actually hungry again.

We actively do our best to work with gluten (not celiac), seafood, nut and vegetarian sensitivities and dietary preferences:
- Vegetarian: eats dairy, honey and eggs (not other animal products)
- Pescatarian: eats the same as vegetarians plus also eats seafood
Guests may pick and choose their participation for any further sensitivities and preferences.

A: Portland’s dedication to historic preservation means that many buildings that house our food and beverage partners are small spaces, have narrow doorways, stairs and also we traverse cobblestones, so unfortunately no.

A: We’re a family-friendly tour, all ages are welcome! We do not encourage the use of strollers due to the size of many of our food and beverage partners’ spaces, but if necessary small, collapsable/umbrella styles are best.

A: We love puppers, but legally our partners are not allowed to have pets enter their premises unless they’re official service dogs.

A: There are several [**garages and lots**](http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=fad70059a4a742698de953cee65b514b&extent=-70.2736,43.6484,-70.2419,43.6636) near the meeting point for the tour. We do NOT recommend using metered street parking as it maxes out at two hours. We recommend a parking [garage or lot](http://www.portlandmaine.gov/430/Garages-Lots). There’s a parking garage approx. 10 minute walk from the meeting point for this tour. Rates vary at Ocean Gateway lot located at the East end of Commercial Street. The closest garage is the Custom House Square parking garage at 25 Pearl Street for $5.00/hour.

A: Because we understand “life happens” and unexpected things occur, we have a tour insurance option for $5.99 per ticket you can add on at the time of purchase.
This enables you to cancel your tickets for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the start time of the tour,
This refunds you the cost of your ticket, minus the insurance and booking fee. You must add this option on when you buy your tickets initially, it’s not available as a post purchase add on. There are no refunds available within the 24 hours leading up to the start time of the tour.
