Learn how to make your Lobster Roll/BLT with Maker’s Galley
In this 2-hour class hands on class, you’ll join local renowned chef, Arianna Stefanilo as she educates you on the history and current state of the Maine Lobster Industry. You’ll enjoy a truly authentic experience as Stefanilo grew up on Chebeague Island in Casco Bay and spent many years lobstering and fishing off the Maine coast with her father. Her love of the sea has left a lasting impact on her culinary point of view.
Chef Arianna will show you how to breakdown a cooked Maine lobster to get to the most tender meat for your Lobster Roll. She’ll show you which parts are the best to eat and which to discard. She’ll share techniques and tools to make the job go smooth. Step by step, you will learn all the tricks on how to make the freshest Maine lobster roll. You’ll make your own aioli, with your own flare of course, and serve yourself on a locally toasted roll slathered in Maine-made butter. Homemade herb potato salad and traditional coleslaw will be served family style along with a drink of your choice to complete your meal.
